Counselling

Counselling is available to assist people in responding to and managing either personal or work- related issues. This is a fully confidential and private service which provides an opportunity for people to address a wide range of issues and concerns. The aim of ‘Strength Based and Constructive counselling is to assist people to reach a ‘preferred outcome’ and therefore improved lifestyle in the present and the future.

Therapeutic approaches, according to need and personal experiences, allow for strategies and coping mechanisms which can ‘make a difference’, and help people to achieve control within their life circumstances. Our counsellor is able to assess and guide your journey and, with consent, may work in conjunction with other practitioners when necessary.

This service is now able to be provided as we have joined forces with Clinical Social Worker, Buster Curson, a widely experienced counsellor, supervisor and advocate of 30 plus years practice in Mental Health, Trauma response, EAP, Mediation, Child and Family, Relationship and generic counselling.

People are able to access counselling directly through ‘self referral’ or via referral through an Employer, a General Practitioner or other Health Professional source. You will be asked to sign a consent form at the outset of your counselling which confirms the confidential nature of the service and the conditions which apply .
